Blog Process

What to prepare before asking for a website

You do not need to know anything about design or code to ask for a website. But a few answers, ready before the first call, make the quote more accurate and the project faster.

1. What the site has to do

Bring in quote requests, take bookings, sell products or show a portfolio? Pick the main goal. A site that tries to do everything at once ends up doing none of it well.

2. Who your clients are

Age, where they live, what they look for and what makes them hesitate. Two or three sentences are enough. This sets the tone of the copy and the order of the pages.

3. Three sites you like (and why)

They can be from another industry. We care more about the why than the site itself: the clarity, the photos, the speed, the way they explain prices.

4. What you already have

  • Logo and colours, if they exist, or whether the brand needs to be made too.
  • Your own photos, or whether they need to be produced.
  • Domain, hosting and email: who manages them and where they are.

5. Timeline and budget

A launch date and a budget range help us propose the right solution for you. If you do not know yet how much to invest, we will tell you openly what is possible in each range.

Got these answers? Tell us what you want to build. We reply with a clear proposal and the project steps, from start to finish.
